WZB Democracy Conference

1st-Annual Interdisciplinary WZB Conference (9-10 October 2025): "The Future of Democracy"

The Berlin Social Science Center (WZB) is hosting a larger interdisciplinary conference on the Future of Democracy in October 2025. Confirmed keynote speakers are: Chris Bail (Duke), Tim Besley (LSE) and Catherine de Vries (Bocconi). The scientific part will be accompanied by a panel with high-ranking representatives from politics and civil society, as well as a concluding panel (confirmed attendance by Pratap Mehta, Princeton). Submission Deadline was 30 April 2025.
